How it works

Wallpaper is counted in strips, not area. How many strips a roll yields depends on wall height and pattern repeat; the calculator adds 4 in (10 cm) of trim per strip.

How to measure

Add up the widths of the walls to cover. Don’t subtract windows and doors; the extra acts as a safety margin.

Tips

• The pattern repeat is printed on the roll label; large repeats add noticeable waste.
• Check that all rolls share the same batch number.
• An extra roll avoids hunting for the same batch later.
